Manuel Illueca Muñoz

Manuel IIlueca holds a degree in Economics and Business Studies from the University of Valencia and a PhD in Business Administration and Management from the Universitat Jaume I of Castellón.
Since September 2023, he has been CEO of Findango Finance. Previously he has been director of the Institut Valencià de Finances of the Generalitat Valenciana (2015-2023) and president of the Sociedad de Garantía Recíproca de la Comunidad Valenciana (2016-2023), the mutual guarantee association of Valencia.

Over the course of his career he has been a lecturer in Financial Economics and Accounting at the Universitat Jaume I of Castellón (specialisation: analysis of financial statements, banking economics and derivative financial products) and Research Fellow at the Valencian Institute of Economic Research.

He has published research articles in national and international journals.

As Director General of Risk and Financial Control, he is responsible for the financial and asset management of ICO, as well as for the design, implementation and monitoring of the overall risk policy. He runs and coordinates the credit risk analysis, monitoring and supervision on ICO clients and the administration of asset and liability operations. He also coordinates ICO's Strategic Risk Management Framework (Risk Map) and supports the rest of the Institute's units in the deployment and implementation of new products.
