Javier Morales
Head of Budget and Financial Control
Javier Morales has a degree in Economic Sciences and Business from the Universidad Complutense in Madrid, in Accounts Auditing and PDD (Management Development Program) from IESE.
He began his career as finance auditor in Arthur Andersen Auditores. He has worked as an internal auditing technician in ICO since 1993 and has held different positions in this unit; Manager, Area Manager, Head of department and Assistant Director. Between 2006 and 2008 he was the Head of the Institutional Relationships Department of ICO.
As Head of Budget and Financial Control, he is responsible for proposing and designing ICO's financial and accounting policies, directing management reports and analysis, cost control and ICO budgets, and liaising with relevant supervisory bodies, while directing, coordinating and supervising the activity of the units reporting to him.
