The Instituto de Crédito Oficial launches its 3rd Equality Plan
05 marzo 2025
The Third Equality Plan of the Instituto de Crédito Oficial (2025 - 2028) came into force on 1 January 2025, by virtue of the agreement reached between the representatives of the Company and the Works Committee, and was filed with the Register of Collective Agreements, Collective Labour Agreements and Equality Plans of the Directorate General of Labour on 21 February 2025.
ICO includes the universal legal principle of equality between men and women both in its 6th Collective Bargaining Agreement (art. 49.bis) and in the general principles governing its Code of Conduct (art. 4), and it is also a strategic principle of our Corporate and Human Resources Policy, in line with the provisions of Organic Law 3/2007, of 22 March, for effective equality between women and men. ICO's commitment to the well-being of its employees is certified through the Family-Responsible Company seal awarded and renewed by the Masfamilia Foundation since 2014.
Furthermore, and in accordance with Article 55.3 of Law 4/2023, of 28 February, for the real and effective equality of transgender people and for the guarantee of the rights of LGBTQ people, this equality plan includes transgender people and, therefore, the measures aimed at women will be equally applicable to transgender women.
This Third Equality Plan is designed to enable us to continue to move forward, building on the results obtained and establishing new commitments, in a spirit of continuous improvement and excellence.
The 3rd ICO Equality Plan is implemented along eight axes:
- General conditions
- Selection and recruitment
- Training, information and awareness-raising
